What is the best PSI for my tires? I am at 29 PSI like the manual says but am wondering if any of you have had better results doing other than that?

I do but I am not happy with them. Seem darty and unsettled compared to the Mich P's. I am going to try taking them down to 29/30 and see how they feel. That is where I ran the M's but there was front inside tire wear. I was also toed out about 4 degrees each side which would get rid of some wander and make the car track straight. Straight line traction is pretty similar. In first
they will spin about the same as the M's looking for traction. I do not have the confidence with them currently as i had with the used M's. I will air down once it dry's out.

Good morning,

I have the stock tires on my car and per the manual my QP is supposed to run 32 front 29 back. I cant believe how sensitive the feel is on the car when they go down 2-3 psi. Probably personal preference ultimatley

They were low recently and the gentlemen at the nearby tire store filled them to 34 front 30 rear. I noticed fairly quickly that the car runs rough and will let some air out to 32 and 29 (which feels good on the road, especially windy roads).

Tyres/Tires

I am running 34 PSi on my rears which are Pirelli PZeros assymetrics 285x30x18.
I bought them used for £80 pair and are almost new. The guy who had them put new goodyears at £75 each on his car.

I insisted on Pirellis. Was concerned that they were going to be too wide and stick out of the wheel arch and look silly but fortunately they look perfect and am very happy with them.

Dont forget to add talc in the tyres to compensate for water vapour in air and make sure that they balance the wheels properly using sticker weights and torque the wheel bolts to 100nm in the correct sequence.

Also make sure that they dont use an airgun and make sure that they jack up the car at the proper jacking points and not on the diff or gearbox as they wanted to on my Porsche.

Ha ve I missed anything or should I mention use only pure Nitrogen:-0

If you are doing a speed run you should air up too. Anything over 150.

a year ago i stop by les schwab, because i though my tires were low on pressure, i was on the phone and during that time they put some air in my tires, they inflate them at 45PSI. after drtiving the car for couple of days i did not know why my CD changer stop working and the inside of the car rattled a lot. so anyway i was driving for couple of days with all around 45PSI in my tires, and i can say that was bad hahahahaha
